Colored bakelite knob

Bakelite knob is applied to the handle of cookware lid, using high temperature Bakelite material through mold injection molding.

knob is usually installed on the metal lid and glass lid.

The bakelite material gives the handle an insulating effect, and making it safer and stronger, more resistant to heat and more comfortable.

Bakelite(Phenolic resin) is synthetic polymer obtained by the reaction of phenol or substituted phenol with formaldehyde.

Used as the basis for Bakelite, PFs were the first commercial synthetic resins (plastics).

So they have been widely used for the production of molded products including various handles for cookware.
