Run a cookware line and you’ll hear about handle heat issues from end users at some point. “The grip got too hot” or “It warped after 20 minutes on the stove.” Most of those complaints trace back to one of two things: wrong material, or wrong thickness at the mounting point. We focus on both.
Our bakelite formulation is rated for 180°C continuous contact and 220°C short-term (under 30 minutes, oven use). For a home stovetop, where the pot wall rarely exceeds 150°C, the grip stays touchable. We don’t claim magic — we just use a denser phenolic blend than the cheap imports, and we mold the grip thicker at the contact zone so heat has to travel further before reaching the user’s hand.
Two product lines:
- Bakelite side handles — the workhorse. Custom Pantone colors, custom logos, multiple mounting patterns. MOQ 500 pairs per SKU.
- Stainless steel side handles — for cookware collections where the brand wants a polished metal look. 304 grade is the default, 201 and 430 available on request.
Mounting dimensions are matched across both lines, so you can run one pot tooling and pick the material per SKU.
Send us your pot drawing or an existing sample, and we’ll have a quote and lead time back to you within a working day. Free sample pack is available if you want to test fit before you commit.
