Screw-On Detachable Pan Handle
How It Works
This detachable handle is made for aluminum non-stick cookware. A machined aluminum bracket is first screwed to the pot wall with standard screws. The Bakelite handle is then clipped over the bracket: a finger-press mechanical lock engages the bracket, and pressing the release tab disengages it so you can pull the handle off. Because the bracket mounts with screws instead of rivets, the system is not locked to one pan design the way a riveted bracket is.
Fits More Aluminum Cookware Types
Screw mounting lets the bracket be positioned and installed on a wider range of pot shapes – drawn aluminum and heavier die-cast aluminum alike. If a line uses more than one pot model, the same handle system can cover them with minimal bracket variation, which simplifies your inventory and cuts spare-part SKUs.
Built for Heavier Pots
The screw-fixed aluminum bracket gives a more rigid base than a clamp or a light riveted plate, so this system supports somewhat heavier cookware. It is a good fit for die-cast aluminum pots and medium-weight pans that need a firmer, more stable grip when full.
