How It Works

This detachable pan handle is a two-part system built around an iron bracket riveted to the pan wall during cookware production – bracket and pan become one piece. The Bakelite handle body carries a push-button catch with a small spring-loaded mechanism. Slide the handle onto the bracket and it clicks and locks; press the button and the mechanism releases, letting you pull the handle free. No tools, no wrenches – one thumb press to mount or remove.

Built for Stamped, Lightweight Cookware

Because the bracket is riveted in at the factory, the pan must be designed for this handle from the start – it is matched to a specific pan model at production rather than being a universal clamp. That trade-off pays off two ways. First, it suits stamped and drawn cookware, where keeping cost low is the whole point: the iron bracket is inexpensive and riveting runs on a standard stamping line. Second, it keeps the pan light – ideal for lightweight pans sold in volume, where every gram of handle weight matters. If your line is drawn steel or light-gauge cookware, this is the detachable handle to spec.
